Primrose League Watch Chain Pendant Official Members Badge

A very scarce original circa Victorian / Edwardian period 'Watch Chain Pendant' as published in original issue of the 'The Authorised Badges of the Primrose League'; gilt and enamel double sided studded fob bearing 'PL Primrose' flower to the centre and motto 'Imperium Et Libertas'. Very good condition, complete with original ring suspension fitting and perfect enamel.
Diameter approx 26mm.
Officially adopted by the Grand Council to be worn by business men when impossible fo them to wear any of the ordinary badges without attracting an amount of attention which might in some cases be incompatible with success. Any member off the league may wear this badge, which costs two shillings.
