A scarce ORIGINAL First World War period full-sized unnamed medal as issued 'Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve' tippet badge, the reverse bearing WELL DEFINED Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1917 and maker's details 'B.H.J' (B H Joseph & Co Birmingham) with retailer's details 'Carrington & Co. London'. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon on pin bar, ribbon with service wear.
