WW1 Royal Air Force pilot's wing transitional period RAF sweetheart brooch

A scarce original early period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart pin badge'; gilt brass Crowned wreath bearing 'RAF' monogram to the centre on deep blue enamel ground, flanked by white enamel feathered wings with 'Royal Air Force' scroll below. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
