The Girl Guide Badge of Fortitude Medal Award c.1928 - 1964

A rare original pre 1932 period 'Girl Guide Badge of Fortitude medal award; gilt edged white enamel diamond bearing blue enamel saltire and recessed pre 1932 trefoil promise badge to centre, this in turn suspended from a blue silk ribbon with 'FORTITUDE' suspension pin bar inlaid with blue enamel. Very good mint condition, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.
