Worthing Hospital award badge c.1955

A good original circa 1955 period 'Worthing Hospital award badge'; large coppery brass disc bearing embossed ornate cross, inscribed around the outer edge 'UNBOUNDED COURAGE AND COMPASSION JOINED and suspended from a Worthing Hospital pin bar; the reverse inscribed to the recipient 'W.BRIEN AUGUST 1955'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor service wear.
Height approx 50mm.
