WW1 John Brown & Co Ltd Clydebank Shipbuilders O.H.M.S war service badge

A scarce original First World War period 'On His Majesty's Service 'John Brown & Co Ltd Clydebank, Scotland' gilt and enamel identification lapel badge, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.J.Dingley B'Ham' and official issue number '4952'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, gilt finish remains bright, minor chip to the enamel in the 9 o'clock position edge, not spoiling the appearance.
