A rare ORIGINAL circa 1929 - 1939 period 'H.M.S. Exeter cap tally ribbon', gold bullion embroidered lettering with small dots on extra long silk ribbon. Very good condition.
Length approx 118mm.
HMS Exeter was a York-class heavy cruiser launched in 1929. She fought at the River Plate in 1939, and was sunk during the Second Battle of the Java Sea on 1 March 1942.
