London County Council LCC First Aid Nursing Badge

A good original pre 1948 Edwardian period 'London County Council gilt brass nurses medal' in the form of a red cross, blue enamel title circlet and 'FIRST AID' across the centre, the reverse inscribed to the recipient 'T.N.KEEN 7-5-08'. Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring and navy blue silk ribbon, gilt finish remains bright.
