Labour Political Party membership trade union badge

A very good original early circa 1940's period 'Labour Party membership pin badge', gilt brass example, white enamel title surround, the centre with 'Flaming Torch of Knowledge' over crossed quill and shovel on red enamel ground with 'Liberty' written across the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.PINCHES LTD LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
