1940 De Havilland Aircraft Company war workers silver badge

A scarce original Second World War period 'De Havilland Aircraft Company production workers small silver lapel badge' in the form of the companies logo, an aircraft fighter plane bearing blue enamel 'D' and 'H' superimposed over each wing, with 1940 below, the reverse impressed 'Silver'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel.
Size approx 26 x 17mm.
