A scarce original early post 1953 'Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service officer's hat badge', gold wire bullion Queen's Crown surmounting Queen Alexandra cypher of crossed initials A, intertwined around a gold wire anchor within a red embroidered wreath, the reverse with black waxed hession backing maker's paper label 'Griscti's Malta Embroiderers' and numbered '39568' ''53'. Very good used condition, colour and bullion remain bright.
