A Victory Medal awarded to '2. LIEUT W M VINCENT'.

Second Lieutenant William Morris Vincent was commissioned into the Suffolk Regiment on the 12th December 1914 and is noted as serving with the 10th Bn a Reserve Battalion of the Regiment.

He was attached to the 1/4th Bn Essex Regiment and embarked for Egypt on the 20th January 1916. He was Killed in Action on the 26th March 1917 at the Battle of Gaza and is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial. His family and wife living in Epsom.
