A scarce original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly tennis player badge', this example with black hands and feet, no pockets to his white waistcoat and bearing the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse with maker's details in relief and in a circle 'W.REEVES & CO. LTD. 30 TENBY ST. B'HAM 1'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
