WW1 British Red Cross Society County of Carnarvon Detachment 62 Named Badge Wales

A scarce original First World War period 'British Red Cross Society Welsh County of Carnarvon gilt and enamel pin badge', the reverse with maker's details 'J.R Gaunt London' and inscribed 'M.GRIFFITHS CAERNARVON 62'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height approx 49mm.
The British Red Cross Society County Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
