A scarce original 1949 to 1955 issue 'British Railways North Eastern Region gilt brass convex cap badge' inlaid with Tangerine colour enamel, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minor surface scratches, complete with original two rectangular lug fittings, retaining clips now ABSENT,
