St John Ambulance Officers Crown & Cross Enamel Badge

A scarce original pre -1953 period 'St John Ambulance Officer's pin badge'; large white metal Crowned example bearing white enamel Maltese cross to voided centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'LB&B' ( London Badge & Button Company.) Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, no defects to the enamel.
Height approx 43mm.
