A rare original post 1952 Queen Elizabeth II period 'The British Red Cross Society Chair of Volunteers Council pin badge'; large yellow chromium plated and enamel example in the form of crowned oval title surround, red cross to centre on white enamel ground, scroll below 'CHAIR OF VOLUNTEERS COUNCIL'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel.
