Huntley & Palmers John Ginger Nuts Biscuits character figure advertising badge
A good original circa 1933 period 'John Ginger gilt and enamel promotional pin badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thos. Fattorini Ltd B'Ham' and in relief 'Huntley & Palmers Biscuits'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or enamel loss.
Height approx 28mm.
Huntley & Palmers biscuit making company was founded in 1822 and was originally situated in Reading Berkshire. The John Ginger character in Quacker style clothes, was created in 1933 and was the trademark for their Ginger Nut biscuits.
