A scarce original circa 1980's period 'Northern Ireland Council for Nurses and Midwives SEN pin badge'; chromium plated oval with white enamel title surround, 'Red Hand of Ulster' to centre on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'THOMAS FATTORINI REGENT ST BIRMINGHAM' and official issue number '5677'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
