A scarce original post 1952 Queen Elizabeth II period 'The British Red Cross Society Deputy President pin badge'; large gilt brass example in the form of crowned oval title surround, red cross to centre on white enamel ground, scroll below 'DEPUTY PRESIDENT'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.GAUNT LONDON'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel, gilt toned, service wear scratches to the enamel.
