WW1 Metropolitan Special Constabulary Police Sergeant Cap Badge

A scarce original First World War period London's 'Metropolitan Special Constabulary Police Sergeants cap badge'; large bronzed example inlaid with yellow vitreous enamel, title circlet with Royal Arms to solid centre, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis Howards St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original early pattern large round securing device, no defects to the enamel.
