A scarce original Cold War period post 1953 Queen's Crown 'WVS Civil Defence and Lancaster District title badge', maroon embroidered on dark grey felt cloth backing. Very good condition.
Height of Badge approx 69mm.
In 1968 the Civil Defence Service was disbanded.
