1914-18 Served In H.M.Forces Lapel Badge by J.R.Gaunt London

A very scarce original circa 1919 period 'Served In H.M.Forces badge'; large white metel laural wreath surmounted by a title scroll, the voided centre bearing crossed rifles displaced by a 'British Army Brodie Helmet', the reverse impressed with maker's maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and 'Rd. No.673728' (a registration, design and patent number for the year 1919). Very good condition, complete with its original buttonhole lapel fitting.
