Certified Midwife 1934 qualification badge

A very scarce original early pattern issue without the 'State' in the title, silver plated example depicting the symbolic figure of 'Juno Lucina' Roman goddess of childbirth within a blue enamel title surround 'Certified Midwife', the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham' and inscribed 'C.A.SMITH 90221 26.5.34.'. Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring and neck cord, no damage to the enamel.
