A good original post 1953 period 'Royal National Lifeboat Institution committee badge'; chromium plated blue enamel title circlet surmounted by a Queen Elizabeth II crown, the centre depicting an embossed boat on the open seas, with red enamel committee scroll below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham.19'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
