French Croix de Guerre 1914-1918 medal with bronze star

A good original First World War period 'French Croix de Guerre award' in the form of a bronze cross with crossed swords and an applied disc with title surround inscribed 'REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE' with the head of 'Marianne' to the centre. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon with an additional bronze star for those mentioned in dispatches at the regiment or brigade level.
