Capetown Castle Union-Castle Mail Steam Ship Company Silver Brooch

A very scarce original circa 1937 -1967 early Union-Castle shipping line 'Capetown Castle souvenir ship's pin badge'; very large ornate rope edge surround, the centre bearing a transfer representation of the ship, the reverse impressed 'MADE IN ENGLAND' 'STERLING SILVER'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, colours remain bright, minimal edge fading, reverse with small dent.
