HM Troopship Somersetshire Bibby Line ships silver picture badge

A rare original circa 1931 period 'H.M.T. Somersetshire pin badge, the reverse impressed 'ENGLAND STERLING PT. 202213' Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, colours remain bright. Diameter approx 27mm.
'HM Troopship Somersetshire' was in built 1927 for the Bibby Line. In September 1939, the HMT Somersetshire was requisitioned and converted into HM Hospital Ship No. 25. From 1944 to 1946 she sailed all over the world as a hospital ship.
