A scarce original early 20th century 'National Union of Heating & Domestic Engineers trade union badge' gilt brass blue enamel title surround, the centre with embossed white enamel rose bearing the entwined leters 'ST' (possibly Specific Trade?); the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.GAUNT LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with early style round lapel fitting, enamel intact.
