WW1 Battle of La Somme Province of Picardie France pin badge

A scarce original First World War 1916 period battle brooch, ornate gilt Province of Picardie enamel town crest surmounted by castle turrets above 'Picardie' ribbon title scroll 'LA SOMME' below inlaid with blue enamel. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, pin now with rust and needs careful handling, enamel intact.
