SS Empress of Britain Canadian Pacific Line ships wheel pin badge

A scarce original vintage period 'S.S.Empress of Britain ships wheel brooch', mounted to the centre the Canadian Pacific Steamships Ltd shipping line company red and white chequered flag. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Diameter approx 31mm.
Empress of Britain built 1930 torpedoed by German U32 and sunk 1940.
Empress of Britain built 1956 sold to Greek Line in 1964 and renamed Queen Anna Maria.
