The London Hospital School of Nursing badge with presentation case

A scarce original Second World War period small pattern unmarked silver example introduced around 1934 to replaced the previous rather large cumbersome version, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.PINCHES LONDON' and inscribed 'JANET M.I.BOOTH - JULY 1939 - JAN. 1943 FEB. 1944'. Good condition, complete with old replacement pin fitting, original catch, enamel with minor stress marks to left arm, housed in its original velvet lined fitted leather presentation case by John Pinches London, the outer lid impressed in gold tooling with badge and inscribed 'THE LONDON HOSPITALSCHOOL OF NURSING'.
