Princess Mary Christmas 1914 Gift Fund Acid Tablets Issued to Indian Troops

An extremely rare 'Princess Mary Christmas 1914 gift tin issued to Indian Troops containing unopened sugar candy still contained in its wax covering inscribed 'HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS MARY'S CHRISTMAS FUND 1914' 'ACID TABLETS' together with a 1914 Xmas Card and envelope and complete with embossed brass box. The tin retaining a good percentage of its gilt finish, however there are splits to front corners where someone has tried to prize out the contents in later years, this stuck in place due to the congealing of the wax covering, the xmas card also with stains from the cover.
