Daily Express Newspaper Rupert Bear League childrens club badge

A scarce original circa 1930's 'Daily Express Rupert League gilt and enamel membership badge', a club formed for children by the 'Daily Express Newspaper' and depicting the head of Rupert Bear above a red enamel title shield, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Roden London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, with an additional blob of enamel to the end of his nose which looks like a nostril, which does not appear on the 'J.R.Gaunt London' made ones.
