GQ Parachutist Qualification parachute badge RAF, Free French

A scarce original early pattern 'Gregory & Quilter Parachute Company pin badge', silver plated slightly smaller slim wings inlaid with orangey red enamelling, the reverse impressed 'G.Q. Parachutist'. Good condition, complete with original tube joint pin fitting and flat rolled catch, very minor defects to the enamel.
Width approx 37mm.
'The 'GQ Parachutist badge' was given by the 'Gregory & Quilter Company' to anyone who had completed parachute training using their parachutes.
