A good original vintage period impressive appearance. 'Society of Ancient Mariners silver naval crown badge' inlaid with red, white, blue and green enamelling; the reverse impressed with '925' silver mark, maker's details 'S.A.M.' (South African Mint) and embossed 'SOCIETY OF ANCIENT MARINERS' 'SEA LORD'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, the red sails bearing a matt finish.
