1947 Devon Coast Country Club holiday camp badge Paignton

A scarce original Cold War period '1947 Devon Coast Country Club holiday camp gilt badge'; green enamel title circlet, the centre depicting an embossed Galleon Ship; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ld Bradford Works Birmingham'. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel.

The Devon Coast Country Club was a holiday camp situated in Smallcombe Road, Paignton, Devon, in the 1970's it was bought by 'Ladbroke Holidays' and again by 'Shearing Coach Holidays Ltd'. It closed in 1994 and became a housing estate.
