A scarce original pre 1939 period 'Girl Guides Brown Owl Leader badge'; gilt brass example inlaid with brown translucent enamel, depicting a beautiful feathered head of a wise owl; the reverse with maker's details 'J.A.WYLIE & CO' 'Regd No 664109' a registered, design and patent date of 1918. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minimal service wear.
