S.S. Carthage P&O shipping line ships anchor badge 1931 - 1961

A good original circa 1950's period 'SS Carthage chromium plated and enamel souvenir anchor brooch', displaying the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company flag to the centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel and retaining its original retailers display card backing inscribed 'SOUVENIR BROOCH' 'MADE IN ENGLAND' 'IMITATION JEWELLERY' and with the 'EXQUISITE' logo.
