A scarce original First World War peiod 'Royal Naval Air Service gilt brass pilot's wing badge' worn on the left breast of the land service khaki tunic. Very good condition, complete with shaped brass backing plate, three screw posts to the reverse, one original nut, two
ill-fitting replacements.
Width without backing plate approx 54mm.
