A rare original Second World War period fine quality British made 'Don't Talk League home front lapel badge' possibly connected to the ‘Careless Talk Costs Lives’ campaign; red enamel title surround patriotic 'Union (Jack) Flag to centre; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1939 and maker's details to both parts 'T.F' (Thomas Fattorini) and 'Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or defects to the enamel.
