1949 Oxford Cheetahs Speedway Supporters Club Badge by Vernon & Wilson

A scarce original circa 1949 'Oxford Cheetahs Speedway supporters club lapel badge'; large gilt brass example, depicting blue enamel titled flanked by yellow enamel wings, with an embossed racing motorcycle and rider to centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'VERNON & WILSON B'HAM 18'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
