WW1 Lancashire And Yorkshire Railway Service Badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway war service gilt badge'; blue enamel title surround, red enamel Crowned 'Railway Service' to the centre on white enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton', official issue number 'B.12503' and registration number 'REG.638232'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, some minor surface scratches only.
