A scarce original Second World War period 'Ministry of Health home front badge' nickel plated circular example inlaid with blue enamel bearing 'Evacuation Nursery' title bar across the reverse centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details in relief 'H.W.M' (H.W.Miller Ltd, Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
