WW1 Ulster Volunteer Medical & Nursing Corps UVF badge

A scarce original First World War period Irish 'Ulster Volunteer Force Medical and Nursing Corps' gilt and enamel badge, 'U.V.M. & N.C. For God & Ulster' title around a red enamel cross on white background, below the 'Red Hand of Ulster' all surmounted by a King's Crown, the reverse with maker's details 'Sharman.D.Neill Ltd Belfast.' and with Registration Number 'Rd.No.629010'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel without defects, gilt finish remains bright.
