WW2 Worcestershire VAC Volunteer Agricultural Camp Badge

A very scarce original Second World War period 'Worcestershire Volunteer Agricultural Camp gilt and enamel pin badge' possibly worn by a member of staff, this example inlaid with cream enamel. Very good condition complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Width approx 36mm.
Worn by the much needed volunteer workers who were encouraged by the annual campaigns organised by the County War Agricultural Committees to take working holidays on farms to ease the acute labour shortage at harvest time.
