RMS Mauretania Cunard Shipping Line Ships Wheel Anchor Badge

A rare original early turn of the 20th century period 'R.M.S.Mauretania gilt and enamel souvenir pin brooch', the Cunard Line Shipping Company red enamel flag mounted to the centre of a white ships wheel, and in turn a blue enamel anchor. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright, contained in original retailers presentation box and mounted on card backing inscribed 'REAL ENAMEL'. An excellent example.
Size approx 35 x 24mm.
RMS Mauretania was launched 1906, during the First World War she was converted to a troopship and a hospital ship. She was scrapped in 1935.
