A scarce original First World War period British Red Cross Society group awarded to MAGGIE SANDERSON comprising:
London County Council LCC Home Nursing Medal dated 1916.
British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Nursing Medal with 1918 bar.
British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Hygiene & Sanitation medal.
British Red Cross Society For War Service 1914 - 1918.
Silver Identication Tag hallmarked for 1917 and inscribed 'A 154257 M. Sanderson ABRH 334-2'.
British Red Cross Society 10 Years Service Badge.
Good condition complete with original ribbons and suspension bars with pin fittings.
Attributed to Miss Maggie Sanderson of Wandsworth Common London who volunteered her services to the Red Cross in September 1914 with the Battersea Detachment. She served throughout the war in the London area and is noted as still serving in 1919.
