A scarce original circa 1964 period 'Marston Green Maternity Hospital State Certified Midwife nurses badge'; green enamel title surround, embossed with multi coloured enamel Canadian Maple Leaf superimposed with the Coat of Arms of Birminham; the reverse impressed with silver hallmarks for 1964 and maker's details 'H W M' (H W Miller Ltd) inscribed 'R.GIRHARRY S.C.M 181333 31/12/66'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel. Diameter approx 29mm.
