A rare original early turn of the century Edwardian period 'Lifeboat Saturday Fund Committee lapel badge; large heavy duty brass example in the form of a white enamel lifebelt, crewman to centre on blue enamel ground 'COMMITTEE' scroll below; the reverse impressed 'SWALES WIGAN' 'REGd' and complete with early pattern round lapel fitting. Good condition, some enamel loss to white enamel.
